General kinematic boundary condition in the theory of soil filtration consolidation
Keywords:
soils consolidation, subsidence, kinematic condition, Stefan problemAbstract
The general kinematic boundary condition on the upper moving bound of soil has been proposed for
the case of its consolidation during filtration. The suggested generalization takes into account a number
of physical and chemical factors (including heat and mass transfer, chemical suffusion, mechanical
suffusion, thermal expansion of soil, etc.) without changing the form of the kinematic boundary condition.
