Abstract

The approach to assessing the quantity of the diffuse gas in water that is available in almost all
layers underground gas storage is proposed. The influence of the diffusion coefficient, the
pressure on the “gas – water” border and the pressure on the lower boundary water on the
quantity of diffuse gas is investigated. The theoretical results are tested on the model problem in
the computational experiment.
