Abstract

The functional characteristics of diesel engines operating on traditional and biological fuels are considered. An approach to the characteristics of internal combustion engines (ICE) with the transition to alternative fuels is proposed. The influence of the physicochemical properties of biodiesel on the operation of the ICE is studied. A one-dimensional mathematical model of the engine with a fuel injection system is implemented. Computer modeling is used to assess the dynamics of changes in the main properties of the ICE.
