Stress-strain state of a plate with a crack and a collinear slot in the bending on an elastic foundation

The problem of the interaction of two collinear defects - a closure-capable crack and a slot whose edges do not contact in the bending process of a plate on an elastic Winkler base is considered in the twodimensional formulation. Crack closure is described using the contact model along a line in the facial surface of the plate. By the slot, we mean a section with stress-free surfaces, on which, in the accepted problem formulation, a negative jump of displacements in the zone of compressive stresses is allowed.
The problem was solved using the method of singular integral equations and the numerical method of
quadrature. The coefficients of the intensity of forces and moments in the inner and outer vertices of the
crack and the slot were calculated. The distribution of the contact reaction along the crack line as well
as the influence of the elastic base, the interaction of defects, and the contact of the crack edges on the
stress-strain state of the plate, were studied
